Austin Robertshaw
Area Director
Austin hails from Greensboro, NC. Austin was involved with Young Life in Greensboro, but really invested his time in the ministry while a student at UNC-Wilmington. After graduating with a degree in Recreation Sports Leadership and Tourism Management, he served on staff with his local church body, Christ Community Church (Wilmington, NC) for one year before feeling the call to join the Young Life Staff. Austin has been serving on the Young Life staff in Pitt County since the summer of 2016, and is now our Area Director. He and his wife Molly are thankful to get to serve here in Pitt County! Go Pirates!

Brandon freeze
StaFF aSSOCIATE
Brandon grew up in Graham, NC but is coming to Pitt County from Greenville, SC. He graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary-Education, History. Brandon became involved in Young Life during his first year at UNCG participating in Young Life College, and soon after became a volunteer leader. After graduation he spent 9 months in Greenville, SC participating in the Greenville fellows program and working for a local church. It was during this time that he felt the call to Young Life Staff. Brandon joined Pitt County Young Life in August of 2023 as a Staff Associate. He leads our Wyldlife ministry.

Bri Pepperman
Young Life college director
Bri grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania and moved to North Carolina to attend Elon University in 2012. She graduated with degrees in Public Health and Human Services in 2016. She joined The Summit Church staff and began doing ministry with college students at UNC and Duke. She joined the Young Life Staff in 2018 and joined Pitt County Young Life in July of 2021 as the Young Life College Director and is actively doing ministry at ECU and Pitt Community College!

Pitt County Young Life is run by a team of staff who devote their time, gifts, and resources to ensuring that the local area and it's volunteers are healthy and always looking to reach the next kid!
Committee
Every local Young Life area is support by a group of adults in the community, and Pitt County is no exception! Our local Young Life committee meets monthly to strategize and plan for events, supports the staff and volunteer leaders, and ensures the health and longevity of Young Life in Pitt County.

Finances
Pitt County Young Life is 100% funded by support from the local area! Each year, we host a variety of fundraising events to help meet our annual budget, but the real support comes from families, parents of involved students, former Young Life kids, and even some current ones! We are so thankful for the ways that this community has funded the ministry of Young Life in Pitt County for the past 30 years!
